Mr. Mike SandersonMr. Mike Sanderson grew up on a family farm in eastern North Carolina. Sanderson’s family was primarily row crop farmers with a few animals as a supplement. Tobacco was the main cash crop but the majority of the acreage was in grain crops until the early 1990’s when cotton regained prominence. In 2002 with row cropping and tobacco struggling Sanderson family built contract broiler houses. It seemed Mike had a knack for this from the start. It turned out to be not only a knack but a passion. By 2005, Mike was managing 20 broiler houses for himself and his family. It seemed however Mike had also uncovered another knack, the one for equipment. |
