1998 NJHA Poster
Contest
|
"Seasons Come, Seasons
Grow."
- Contest Rules And Regulations
- Enter one of three divisions based on age:
- Division 1 - Ages 5 to 7
- Division 2 - Ages 8 to 10
- Division 3 - Ages 11 to 14 years
- Drawing must be on standard 8 1/2 by 11 inch paper.
- Only one entry per participant.
- Place artist's name, age, date of birth and address on back of
entry.
- Drawing must be an original colored work based on this year's
theme: "Seasons Come, Seasons Grow."
- Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope ($.32 postage) for
each entry. Up to 30 individual entries may be submitted as a
group. If you choose to submit your class or club as a unit, you
must supply a self-addressed 9 1/2 by 12 1/2
inch envelope with $1.93 in postage attached. Because of
the popularity of this contest and the lack of an entry fee,
entries without proper postage can not be acknowledged. Results
will be mailed within eight weeks of the project closing date.
- Entries will not be returned. The National Junior
Horticultural Association reserves the right to use the drawings
for publicity purposes.
- The current year's theme must appear somewhere on the poster.
- Entries must be received by December 1, 1998

- Failure to comply with any of the above mentioned rules will
result in automatic disqualification.
First place winners in each division will be awarded plaques. Cash
awards will be presented as follows: $15.00 first place, $10.00
second place and $5.00 third place.
