Almanac Gardener is a 13-week half-hour home horticultural television program show aired each spring. A panel of specialists and agents from the Cooperative Extension Service answer viewer questions.
Video taped food preparation and horticultural features are also a regular part of the program.
Almanac Gardener began its spring 2000 season on Saturday, April 1 at Noon. The show is replayed on Sundays at 2:00 p.m. on the 11 stations of the UNC-TV network. Almanac Gardener runs through Saturday, June 24. Cooperative Extension agents from across North Carolina and specialists from North Carolina State University are weekly guests on the program.
Mike Gray, Extension Television Producer, is the host.
