Ornamental Pepper Cultivar TrialBrian E. Whipker, Ingram McCall, and James L. Gibson Listed below are 17 cultivars of ornamental peppers trialed in 5 inch pots at the Horticultural Science greenhouses on the campus of North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC. They are listed by growth habit. Seeds were sown on June 9, 1999, and plugs were transplanted on July 7. Plants were pinched 14 days after potting and Sumagic at 10 ppm was applied 2 weeks later as a foliar spray. Plants were evaluated on September 29.
