“Helping Gardeners Put Knowledge to Work”
is the theme for the 2007 North Carolina Master Gardeners Conference. Join us for stimulating seminars, dynamic speakers, book signings, door prizes, banquets and exhibitors.

Check in Sunday night to participate in the optional full or half day Monday garden or campus bus tours. Enhance your gardening knowledge while attending lectures and concurrent sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday. Conclude the conference with a stop by Plant Delights Nursery’s Open House just for conference attendees.

This conference is packed with useful information, ideas, and experiences…. all designed towards “Helping Gardeners Put Knowledge to Work.” We look forward to seeing you in Raleigh!

After the conclusion of the conference, you are invited to attend an open house at Plant Delights Nursery and Juniper Level Botanical Gardens 4:00 - 6:30 pm. The gardens contain over 6,000 different plant species and cultivars, of which 1,500 are woody and the rest perennials. Includes a man made grotto garden, southwestern garden, rock garden, bog garden, aquatic garden, and much more. You will be able to purchase plants.

Conference Tours
Choice from all day garden tours or half day campus tours on Monday
JC Raulston Arboretum: NC State University, 4301 Beryl Road (off Hillsborough Street and I-440 near State Fair grounds) Raleigh, NC 919-515-7641. An eight acre university research garden for testing new plants. Features include: white garden, bedding plant trails, perennial border, Japanese garden, rose garden, world class collection of redbuds, magnolias, styrax, junipers, vines, and shrubs.
 
Registration:
Fees include general sessions, lunch, pig-picking, banquet, and refreshments breaks
$115.00 Master Gardener - if postmarked before Sept 1, 2007; one day registration is also available.
Refund Policy: Requests for registration refunds will be honored if a written notification of cancellation is received on or before Sept 1, 2007.
