Flower/fruit: Narrow cluster of small white flowers on the upper portion of a leafless stalk; five small petals that taper into stalked bases; ten very conspicuous long stamens
Flowering Season: Spring
Foliage: 2 to 4 inch broad, long-stalked leaves; roundish to egg-shaped with heart-shaped base; three to seven shallow, sharply toothed lobes
Site: Rich, well-drained soil; partial shade to shade
Comments: Spreads by slender runners to form colonies
