Height: 1 to 4 feet
Flower/fruit: Scattered clusters of yellow flowers from axils of leaves; three to five petals; large terminal cluster
Flowering Season: Fall
Foliage: Blue to purple stem; 2 to 5 inch smooth, slender, stalkless, toothed, sharply pointed leaves with feather veins; tapers at both ends; arching stems covered with a whitish bloom
Site: Moist woods, thickets, clearings
