Flower/fruit: Flat-topped cluster of daisy-like flower heads; petals and disk flowers are yellow  
Flowering Season: Late spring into summer
Foliage: Several long, thin stems; heart-shaped basal leaves are bluntly toothed, slender-stalked and are 2 to 4 inches long; reddish below
Site: Wet meadows, rich, moist woods, swamps, bogs
