Flower/fruit: Intense yellow petals dangle from 2 inch brown cones; tall stately flower stalks  
Flowering Season: Summer into fall
Foliage: Clump of silvery blue-green foliage; 18 inch paddle-shaped leaves with glaucous covering; large basal leaves
Site: Sun to partial shade; prefers rich, moist soil
Comments: Good drought tolerance
