Height: 3 to 7 feet
Flower/fruit: Cluster of 5 to 6 nodding, greenish white or yellow, trumpet-shaped flowers; series of short, smooth bracts tops a series of longer bracts  
Flowering Season: Summer into fall
Foliage: Leaves vary in shape, may be triangular, heart-shaped, lobed or entire; milky sap in stems and leaves
Site: Dry woods (especially oak)
