Flower/fruit: Five small yellow petals above a ring of five green sepals; .5 to .6 inch blossom arises from axis of the lowest leaf  
Flowering Season: Spring into early summer
Foliage: Palmate leaves with five wedge-shaped 1.5 inch leaflets; toothed only above the middle; densely silver hairy stems; runners up to 20 inches long
Site: Dry, open woods and fields
Comments: Can form a large mat
