Flower/fruit: .5 inch blue to violet lobed, bell-shaped flowers; prominent stamens; more or less one-sided raceme; petals not fringed  
Flowering Season: Spring into early summer
Foliage: Branching, hairy stem; pinnately divided leaves with 3 to 7 lobed segments; sharply toothed; long-stalked; thick bushy clump
Site: Moist woods, slopes, stream banks
