Flower/fruit: 1 inch white flower with five clawed petals; prominent green veins; five stamens alternate with petals

Foliage: Rosette of kidney-shaped long-stalked basal leaves; single clasping leaf on the round stem
Site: Bogs, seepage slopes, stream banks
