Flower/fruit: Bright pale blue to whitish flowers with a yellow eye; four sepals, four united petals and four stamens which are attached to the corolla tube
Flowering Season: Spring to early summer
Foliage: Thread-like tufted stems in a basal rosette; pairs of smaller leaves on flower stem
Site: Moist to well-drained soil; sun to partial shade; found in open woods, meadows and clearings
