Height: 2 to 4 feet
Flower/fruit: Flat-topped cluster of 10 to 20 small tubular white flowers
Flowering Season: Fall
Foliage: Pairs of wrinkled lance-shaped leaves, finely toothed and 3 to 6 inches long; leaves are joined together at the base
Site: Sun to partial shade; low moist thickets, open woods and meadows
Comments: Was used as a favorite home remedy for colds
