Flower/fruit: .5 to 1 inch white or pink flowers in a small terminal cluster on erect stem with deeply cleft leaves
Flowering Season: Spring
Foliage: Three stems leaves deeply divided into 5 to 9 segments; 1 to 3 inch lance-shaped leaflets; no basal leaves at flowering; upper stem is downy
Site: Rich woods, thickets
Comments: Small, fleshy tubers or jointed rhizome
