Height: 2 to 8 feet
Flower/fruit: .5 to .75 inch flower heads in flattish cluster; 10 to 15 white petals tinged with purple tend to curve downward or backwards
Flowering Season: Mid-summer into fall
Foliage: Up to 6 inch, lance-shaped or elliptical leaves taper at each end; toothless; short-stalked to stalkless
Site: Moist fields, thickets, border of swamps
