Flower/Fruit: 2 to 3" racemes of yellow flowers in early spring; mild fragrance; blue-black berries in summer
Foliage: Alternate, compound, leathery, glossy leaves; 6 to 12" long; 5 to 9 leaflets; reddish bronze new growth; purplish bronze in winter
Comments: Drought tolerant; suckers and may form colonies; color will bleach out if grown in full sun; dislikes summer heat
