Form: Spreading, rounded form; normally wider than tall
Flower/Fruit: Non-showy flowers enclosed in a bract on male plants; olive-like fruit on female plants
Foliage: Linear, spirally arranged, sharply tapered leaves; 1 to 2" long; lustrous dark green; holds color well in winter unless exposed to full sun and wind
Comments: Drought and heat tolerant; best Taxus for the south; deer resistant
