Comments: Underside of leaf is blue-white to silvery; smooth bark; narrow, rounded crown; shallow roots; multistemmed; upright spreading habit; aromatic spicy leaves and twigs; fruit attracts birds; larval food for swallowtails
Cultivars: M. virginia var. australis (more evergreen); Henry Hicks
