Over the past three decades, outdoor performance trials on Narcissus(Daffodil,
Jonquil and Paperwhite) cultivars have been conducted at several locations in
North America. In some instances, the bulbs were provided by the flower bulb
industry. In others, the individuals obtained their own bulbs. In either case,
we are indebted to them for sharing their data. The locations and/or individuals
(if known) are indicated. For quick referencing, their data has been summarized.

In addition, there are many more cultivars available than those evaluated in the research trials reported in this Bulletin. Thus, gardeners and landscapers are advised to conduct limited evaluations of cultivars to be certain they perform well in their area prior to planting large numbers of bulbs.
