Flowering Characteristics
Narcissus (Daffodils) flower in early to late spring (Feb. to May) for two to three weeks (each cultivar). Plants are 8-20 inches tall, depending on the cultivar. Many cultivars are fragrant.

Geophyte organ: Tunicated bulb
Hardiness type: Hardy II. They will tolerate long periods of freezing weather.
Natural reproductive systems and growth and development requirements: Reproduces by offset bulblets and requires a warm (65-70°F) - cool (28-32°F) - warm (55-60°F) annual thermoperiodic cycle.
Primary uses: Beds, sunny borders of trees and shrubs, fresh cut flowers, grown covers and rock gardens.
