Fronds: Arching, golden-green fronds that tilt backward; large oblong triangular, pinnate-pinnatifid blade; quickly tapers at the tip and slightly narrowing at base; 7 to 8Ó flattened pinnae are pale green along the margins; segments have firm texture; sori lie near the midvien; fronds turn pale yellow in fall; long, thick stipe, very scaly at base
Comments: Short creeping rhizome with an elevated crown; easy to grow; prefers moist, humus rich soil in partial to full shade; established plants are difficulty to move
