As long as there have been human, there have been leaders. History has revealed leaders with positive and negative vision. Before proceeding with this module, go to your Reflection Journal, enter today’s date, and write the name of one historical leader from any period of history and anyplace (local, national, etc.). What was the goal of this leader? What do you think made him/her a leader?

.
Reflection Journal Entry

True leaders emerge everyday, and it is important to assess historical leaders and learn from their examples so we will become better leaders. A historical leader may have been a man or woman who changed part of you neighborhood from a slum to a place with adequate housing for all. A historical leader also may have been someone who changed the course of the world.

This module will look mostly at worldwide historical leaders, but remember that the principles apply also to your own local historical leaders.
