title
How would you like to spend more time together as a family? While it is always difficult to fit work, family and home life into a demanding schedule, 4-H works to solve this problem. 4-H is not just a youth organization, it's a family organization!

Over 31,000 youth in participated in 4-H clubs in North Carolina during 1998. 4-H clubs help young people to have fun with friends and to learn new skills. With more than 200 projects and activities designed to help families learn and grow together, there are many opportunities to develop interests and hobbies as a family.

Clubs are guided by adult helpers and meet at least once a month. Through continued club membership, youth gain skills in decision-making, cooperation and communication. Youth and their families can work on projects such as bicycles, science, babysitting, bugs, sewing, rockets, gardening, dogs, safety?the topics are endless!
