Inclusion Websites

Inclusion Guide

  • A Community For All Children NOTE: This link is in PDF format.
This guide was developed by the NC School-Age Solutions Committee, a group of parents and professionals brought together to explore strategies for promoting inclusive options for children with disabilities during out-of-school time. The resource guide is dedicated to the many children with disabilities who are not currently provided with opportunities to participate in out-of-school time activities with their peers. This guide provides an overview of inclusion and practical strategies for including children with disabilities in out-of-school time activities and can be used by children and youth with and without disabilities, family members, practitioners, teachers, and community agencies.
