Disabled Sports USA A national nonprofit,
organization established in 1967 by disabled Vietnam veterans to serve the war
injured. DS/USA now offers nationwide sports rehabilitation programs to anyone
with a permanent physical disability.
Special Olympics
International Special Olympics is an international program of year-round
sports training and athletic competition for more than one million children and
adults with mental retardation. The Special Olympics Oath Is "Let me win. But if
I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt."
Wheelchair Sports USA From its earliest
beginnings to the present day, Wheelchair Sports, USA, has been directed and
developed by wheelchair athletes and wheelchair sports enthusiasts themselves,
individuals with a first-hand understanding to the values of participation.
World T.E.A.M Sports World T.E.A.M (The Exceptional Athlete Matters) Sports is an organization
that promotes the participation of persons with disabilities in sports and
recreation through special events.
