Program Description
This lesson focuses on strategies parents can use to assure their understanding of children's needs for a successful school experience and focuses on ways parents can be advocates for their child's needs in educational environments.
Program Objectives
- Participants will explore their own feelings associated with school and their child's success in school.
- Participants will understand the developmental stages associated with school readiness.
- Participants will learn strategies for interacting with their child with books.
