Protecting Transylvania County Watersheds through Education about Land Use Change Impacts on Water Quality, and Low-Impact Development in partnership with the Transylvania Natural Resources Council (TNRC)mountain stream

WECO, in partnership with Transylvania County Cooperative Extension, the TNRC, the City of Brevard, Transylvania County, and several others, has received an EPA 319 grant from the NC Division of Water Quality. The overall purpose of the grant is to work through the TNRC to provide locally-relevant education and tools to citizens and elected officials for the purpose of implementing water resource protection measures, particularly Low-impact Development (LID)
