WECO
Background
WECO is dedicated to developing local capacity for sustainable watershed management and facilitating watershed partnerships in North Carolina. WECO joins watershed stakeholders to accomplish collaborative solutions to water resource issues.
A stakeholder is anyone
who:
(1) is affected by an issue or a solution;
(2) has the authority to make decisions or the resources to carry it out;
or
(3) has the potential to obstruct an agreement or its implementation.
WECO is a NC Cooperative Extension program housed in the NCSU Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics.
