| WECO's goal is to develop local capacity for collaborative natural resource management in North Carolina. Since 1997, WECO has been facilitating local watershed planning and restoration, providing outreach tools on water resources and collaboration, and helping communities to build partnerships and find solutions for natural resource issues. As North Carolina continues to grow, WECO has responded to needs for education and facilitation on emerging issues such as low impact development and local sustainability planning. |
