Wanda Gardner prepares, cooks, and packages meals including beverages for the Elderly Nutrition Program in 3 surrounding counties (Hyde, Tyrrell, and Dare). She prepares with a co-worker 110 to 150 meals per day Monday through Friday. She counts and sorts meals per container for each county. She writes tickets for each container with meal count numbers and temperatures of each entrée. She turns in a list of items that need to be ordered to prepare the next week menus to her supervisor. She maintains a safe food preparation standard and keeps the kitchen and storage areas clean and organized.
