Shannon Bellamy McCollum

Extension 4-H Associate

Shannon McCollum has been with North Carolina Cooperative Extension since June of 1990. Her more than 16 years of previous Extension experience includes county 4-H agent experience in Halifax County and her state level experience as Extension 4-H Associate with North Carolina 4-H since March of 1996. Shannon provides overall leadership and support to the 4-H Awards and Incentives Program as the 4-H Teen Program. Shannon also provides 4-H Liaison responsibilities to the Southeast District and the NC 4-H Honor Club.

Shannon received a BS degree in Child Development and Family Relations with a Concentrations in Special Education and Clothing and Textiles from East Carolina University, Greenville, NC, 1990. She also received her MS in Agricultural and Extension Education, North Carolina State University May, 1999. Shannon is currently working on her Doctorate Degree in Agricultural and Extension Education.
