Linda Cahoon

Administrative Support Associate

Linda Cahoon has been with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service since 1985. She started her service as a secretary for the Wake County Center until 1996 when she joined the Family and Consumer Sciences Unit. She was promoted to Program Assistant in 1994 and to Administrative Secretary in 2000. She is now an Administrative Support Associate as a result of Career Banding. She provides valuable support for the EFNEP Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program) faculty.

Linda received an Award of Excellence for Special Leadership Skills-District Award in 1992 and an Award of Excellence for Special Leadership Skills-Campus Award in 1999.She was honored in We Salute in 1996. She is an active member of the NCCESA. She has held many offices with each chapter.
