Larry Hancock

Extension 4-H Specialist

Larry serves as the “Specialist in Charge” of the six north Carolina 4-H Camps & Conference Centers (www.nc4h.org/centers). Larry directly supervises the Directors at each 4-H Center and is an ex-officio member of each Center’s Advisory Board. Larry gives leadership to the Educational Centers Operations Team (ECOT) made up of Center Directors, key staff members, central office 4-H staff, and representatives of the NC 4-H Development Fund. Larry ensures that the NC 4-H Camps are open to all youth and that their programs and facilities are of the highest caliber and represent a distinct value for North Carolina families. Each NC 4-H Center is accredited by the American Camp Association.
