Amy G. Chilcote

Extension Associate

Mrs. Chilcote is responsible for the program management of the E-Conservation Program. The E-Conservation Program is designed to reach and teach families and consumers to take a proactive approach in reducing home energy consumption and utility costs through energy efficient retrofitting techniques.

She has been employed with the N.C. Cooperative Extension since 1996. Before becoming the E-Conservation Program Manager, Amy was an Extension Agent, Family and Consumer Science in Lincoln County. While in Lincoln County her job responsibilities included: community resource development, stabilizing volunteer systems, children's environmental health, indoor air quality, and housing. Amy received a Bachelor of Science (1991) and a Master of Science in Family and Consumer Science (1993) from East Carolina University.
