
The Master’s of Family Life and Youth Development is a distance-based non-thesis degree that requires a total of 30 graduate credit hours culminating in a capstone experience/project and an oral examination. The program is built upon foundations of theory and application composed of four focus areas: (1) foundations of family life and youth development, (2) professional development and leadership, (3) research and methodological inquiry, and (4) a content area concentration (Youth Development Leadership, Family Life & Parent Education, Volunteer Management & Administration, Administration and Leadership of Youth and Family Programs, Family Life Coaching, and Gerontology).
