Extension Information Technology provides technology leadership for the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service. Our responsibilities include:

• Maintaining county center computers and networks
• Providing primary technology support for the county centers
• Developing web applications to serve the programmatic needs of North Carolina Cooperative Extension and funding partners
• Maintaining web and application servers
• Providing technology education to Cooperative Extension employees
• Coordinating the technology education programs of the four area information agents
• Collaborating with campus, eXtension, southern region, and national partners to provide technology solutions and build capacity within the national cooperative extension system

The Cooperative Extension Service Help Desk provides technology support to North Carolina Cooperative Extension faculty and staff.

The Information Management Educational Program develops the information management capacity of the field faculty and support staff in order to enhance the development and delivery of educational programs provided by North Carolina Cooperative Extension.
