The Flashers 4-H Club was in charge of our January 4-H
Leader and County Council Meeting held MONDAY, JANUARY 26, 1998
at 6:30 p.m. in the Chatham County Agricultural Building
Auditorium. Discussed was 4-H project records, N.C. 4- H
Volunteer
Leaders' Conference and events such as public speaking,
talent/fashion show and others. Attendance was very good for this
meeting. Door prizes and snacks were provided.
The 4-H program in Chatham County is steadily growing, but
in order to build a
dynamic program, we need the help of a strong motivated County
Council and Leaders'
Association. We are looking forward to working with you this
year.
4-H SUMMER CAMPS
Chatham County will be camping at Millstone 4-H Center July
12 - 17, 1998.
We need volunteers and chaperons to accompany our delegation.

4-H SUMMER DAY CAMP
4-H Summer Day Camp will be held again this year at Jordan
Lake, Vista Point
group camp area. Dates are June 8 - 26, 1998. There will be
three - one
week sessions. Camp staff is needed; such as lifeguards,
councilors and bus drivers. If
you are interested, please give us a call.
