Recipient of Endowment.

Through a generous contribution from Dr. Nadine F. Tope, retired foods and nutrition specialist in the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service, the College's Department of Family and Consumer Sciences has created the North Carolina Family and Consumer Sciences Program Development Endowment. The August endowment-signing ceremonies took place at the annual conference of the FCS Agents Association.

The endowment will provide awards to support the development of innovative programs proposed by FCS extension faculty, specialists and agents.
