Debbie Roos Receives Extension Agent of the Year Award from
 North Carolina Beekeepers Association

Debbie Roos has been named 2005 Extension Agent of the Year by the North Carolina Beekeepers' Association. She was recognized for her participation in a number of activities supportive to beekeepers.

She helped organize and then participated as a student in the county's beekeeping school this past spring. She created a website and newsletter for the Chatham Beekeeping Chapter. She organized an advisory committee of beekeepers to advise on the types of workshops and seminars and other training programs that were helpful to area beekeepers.
