³ Price data collected from vendors at the Pittsboro Farmers' Market and Fearrington Farmers' Market in Chatham County. These are "growers only" markets - all produce is grown by the vendor.

⁵ There is no consistent "salad mix" product - mixtures may include a variety of different lettuces, greens, edible flowers, etc., and this is reflected in the range of prices among vendors.
