Italian Carlo Petrini, the founder of the international Slow Food movement, was invited to North Carolina by the Center for Environmental Farming Systems as a featured speaker for the Farm-to-Fork activities which included a public discussion in Raleigh, an evening reception, and a picnic at Chapel Hill Creamery. Of course we couldn't let Mr. Petrini visit without seeing a local farm, so he toured Peregrine Farm before the afternoon picnic.
