Bill Logan has been farming for over 60 years, and his family before him farmed for as long as he can remember. He grew up growing tobacco, but got interested in diversifying when he saw the dairy farmers around him getting a paycheck every month, while he only got paid once a year when tobacco sold at auction! Bill started growing strawberries in 1990 and slowly added more crops to his mix and now he is one of the most diversified operations in the area. He grew his last crop of tobacco in the late 1990s.

Logan Farms is a true family farm. Any given day you will find his wife Gail and son Daniel busy at various tasks around the farm. His brother Kenneth also contributes. Bill says he enjoys farming because he gets to meet alot of good people. The Logans sell just about everything at their on-farm stand and have a large group of regular customers who have been buying from them for many years. Visit their strawberry field and you will hear customers raving about the Logans!

Take a virtual farm tour of Logan Farms!
