Pieces of bamboo marked finished beds.

This shot shows the length of the rice field. Jason and Haruka hope to plant about one acre of rice.

This group worked at the far end of the field to lay out the new beds.

The mob gathers at the top of the hill for a mid-afternoon snack of green tea, AnPan (a Japanese sweet bun filled with bean paste), plus brownies and baclava from Angelina's Kitchen. Yum!

Both the work and the food brought everyone together. Crop Mob is a great way to meet people!
