Farm Health & Safety

Farming and forestry are among the most hazardous occupations, exposing workers to a variety of health and safety risks, ranging from chemical exposure to accidents associated with heavy machinery. Through training programs, publications in English and Spanish, and more, North Carolina Cooperative Extension provides farm and forestry workers, pesticide applicators and their families with the knowledge to improve health and safety.
