Opossum
Control by trapping or shooting. A .22 caliber rifle or Number 6
shot is appropriate. Trap with Number 1 or Number 2 steel trap,
box trap or live trap. Opossums can be excluded from building
and structures. There are no legal poisons, repellents or
fumigants. Frightening is not effective. Opossums are covered
by
North Carolina
Law for Wildlife Killed for Depredations.
