House Mice
An occasional invader should be trapped with a snap trap, other
mechanical trap or a glue board. If large numbers of mice are
present you should improve sanitation and garbage management
practices, modify the habitat by ratproofing and altering
landscaping, and continue to trap. Small mice will not trigger
traps. They can be caught with glue boards. Reduce human smell
on traps by washing with detergent and water and using gloves
while baiting. If trapping isn't doing the job use a bait. Mice
rapidly develop resistance to poisons used in baits so buy the
one currently available in the area.
