Responsibilities:

To provide administration and counseling for all Extension staff members in Beaufort County. Serves as liaison between County and State regarding performance evaluations, budgeting and other administrative matters.

To provide educational information on farm safety, food safety, and Community and Rural Development to residents in a county with a population of 45,000.

Education:

Master of Science, Home Economics, East Carolina University, Greenville, NC, 1988

Bachelor of Arts, Home Economics with a Minor in Early Childhood Education, Meredith College, Raleigh, NC, 1978

Experience:

September 1984 to Present:

Extension Agent with responsibilities for providing educational information on nutrition, food preparation, food safety, and wellness to individuals, community groups, public health and related organizations, private agencies and organizations.

June 1979 to September 1984

Extension Agent, 4-H, Lenoir County

Responsibilities included , media programs including radio and TV and other public relations activities promoting the 4-H and Youth program.
