NC Extension Association Family & Consumer Sciences Ada Dalla-Pozza Professional Development Award

Upon the realization that there was no opportunity for professional development awards specifically designated for Extension Family and Consumer Education Agents in North Carolina, Ada Dalla-Pozza, retired State Home Economics Leader, initiated the establishment of this endowment fund in 1992. Members of the North Carolina Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences assisted in providing the initial endowment of $30,000 before utilizing the interest gained for their first award.

Contributions
Members who would like to honor Ada can send contributions payable to NC Family and Consumer Sciences Foundation designating the contribution to be added to the "NCEAFCS Ada Dalla-Pozza Professional Development Award". Indicate if the contribution is being given in honor or in memory of someone and the name and address where appreciation should be sent.

NC Extension Association Family & Consumer Sciences Annual Conference Fund

The purpose of this fund is to provide support for North Carolina Extension Associations of Family and Consumer Sceinces' District Associations. The income for this fund shall be used to provide assistance in the amount of $1500, to the District in hosting the NCEAFCS Annual Conference.

Jane Taylor Memorial

A fund has been established in the memory of former NEAFCS National President and NCEAFCS state president, Jane Taylor. The funds will be used to build and furnish the Jane Taylor room addition at the 4-H Environmental Center, in Columbia, NC (Tyrrell Co.) NCEAFCS made a contribution to the Memorial Fund during the 1999 annual session.

Members who would also like to honor Jane should send contributions payable to: NC 4-H Development Fund. Designate gift is for The Jane M. Taylor Room.
